As the point of this blog is to recommend beers and share beers that I love, it’d probably be a good idea to let you know what types of beers I generally like.  In short, I love a hoppy beer.  IPA’s and double IPA’s tend to be my favourites.  But they’re by no means the only beers I like.  I also very much love a red, a porter or a stout, a standard pale ale or lager, I even like a sour every now and again.  Just about the only type of beer I don’t like is a wheat beer. 

So while my tastes do tend towards the hoppier end of the spectrum, I like most styles of beer.  This blog won’t be pigeonholed with exclusively IPA’s.  You probably won’t like every single beer I write about here, but hopefully you’ll like more than you don’t.

Each Monday I will share one of my favourite beers, a new discovery, or a riveting account of a visit to one of Australia’s fantastic craft breweries. I’ll alternate weeks between beers and breweries. I’m always open to suggestions, but if I can introduce everyone to one new beer they love, then I will consider my mission a success.
