Royal Hotel Queanbeyan

The last stop on the initial weekend of the Royal Tour was the Royal Hotel Queanbeyan. For those that may be unaware, Queanbeyan is just on the NSW side of the border from Canberra and the ACT. It’s not the hugest tourist draw, but a fairly pleasant place to stop in.

John and I stopped in on a Sunday on our way back from the first two stops in Adelong and Tumut before heading home from the initial weekend of the tour. This particular Royal Hotel was a decent enough pub with good live music while we were there and a good-but-not-great selection of beers on tap.

All in all, it was a somewhat unremarkable, but pretty good place to wile away a lazy Sunday arvo. They did have an unusual and not altogether pleasant amount of pumpkin on their nachos. Take from that what you will…
