For the next brewery on the list we head back to Perth: Cory’s Top 20 – #15 Nowhereman Brewing Co.

Nowhereman is your quintessential, hole-in-the-wall brewpub style brewery.  The vibe when you walk in is very much beer first.  That’s not to say it’s not a good place to wile away the hours over a few beers and a pizza.  But it’s pretty clear that the making of the tasty beer is the priority here.

Speaking of those tasty beers, there’s several quality ones on offer.  If I were forced to pick just one favourite, it’s have to be the Small Odds Double IPA.  Small Odds starts with a bit of a citrusy kick before the wave of hoppy bitterness washes over your entire mouth.

How’s that for an attractive array of beers?

Other beers of note include the sticky, sweet, massive, and surprisingly slightly hoppy Mt Otter’s Barley Wine.  If you’re a fan of a barley wine, I highly recommend.  Additionally, the sours deserve a special mention as well.  The Rizzle Dizzle Sour, Berry Gose Round, and Cherry Berry Sour were all brilliant.

One final tick in Nowherman’s favour is an excellent logo and line of merch. As I’ve mentioned previously, even though the beer is clearly the most important part, I’m a sucker for that kind of thing. So the major takeaway here is that the beer is great and the venue is one of my favourite places in Perth to relax and work my way through an array of delicious brews.
